Peter and Karen Arthur have been involved in fundraising for Kidney Health Australia and Our Kids for the last 4 years. As part of that fundraising, they've traveled through some of the most remote areas in Australia. Karen is currently studying in Brisbane and won't be able to participate in our Coast to Coast crossing.

Robert Thomson has been a 4WD enthusiast for some 20 years and is looking forward to the challenge of this outback experience. 

Robert says "My 4WD travelling days began shortly after we discovered that my youngest daughter had leukaemia and I wanted to create some special memories by sharing the wonders of this great country with my children.  Fortunately, my girl is a survivor with thanks to many, including the Drs., nurses & staff of Lismore Base Hospital where the Northern Rivers Childrens' Health Fund began. I am actively involved in this fundraising expedition because the ongoing care of our kids is a mission close to my heart."

Stuart Auld

Stuart Auld lived in Lismore for 10 years before moving to Brisbane. When he was approached to be a part of this fundraising venture, the answer was easy. "Both my children were born in Lismore Base Hospital. I'd love to be involved in raising funds for Our Kids. When do we leave?", he said.
