Media coverage will be high and we will be looking for maximum coverage for this most worthwhile fundraising event. Our team uniforms will have all supporters’ names or logos embroidered on them, with maximum coverage with TV interviews, newspaper articles, public speaking, functions and, of course, our Web page. The vehicle will be fully sign written and presented at public events like local Shows, Beef-week in Casino, 4WD & camping shows around the Northern Rivers and South East Queensland, street parades and the Our Kids charity golf day within the Northern Rivers area.

The two charities that we have chosen to be our beneficiaries are Our Kids and Kidney Health Australia. Our goal is to raise at least $20,000 for Our Kids to help buy a Humidicrib for Lismore Base Hospital as the one they have now is out of date with new technology.

There are already a number of businesses supporting us, and many more interested. The cost and the amount of preparation for an expedition like this is very high and we are currently on the look out for major sponsors to help make this event a reality.
